Yes indeed and I don't know their action as these are valuable items and they have to care those items.

Exactly, and many of them are from centuries. Things like this is priceless as it gives us a overview of history in a area...history of humans.
I don't want to sound insensitive, ignorant, or something, but there are far worse things that happen in a war than some old pieces of paper getting destroyed. That stuff may or may not be useful to science, so let's not overreact.
While I agree with you that there are worse things than burned manuscripts, these are not just things that can be easily replaced. But I agree with you that I'll be more angry with people dying than papers burning.
Angry at the rebels for burning artifacts? Honey, these people can do greater damage than just burning some old papers. You should be more concerned with deaths.
